Wonderful news! The Fin Foundation has partnered up with Providence Memorial Hospitals in El Paso , Texas! We will be working with their Children’s Hospital in several ways to benefit their patients, families and the entire El Paso community! First off will be working to update their “Oceanville” floor where they have some great ocean art! We will be adding educational components to the unit so children and their families can learn about ocean wildlife! We will be using photography, graphics, and aquariums to make this a great environment for them during their stay!
Then we will be conducting presentations 4 times a year at the hospital that will be open to the community! The hospital is committed to giving back to the community and being a place for more than just health services and recovery! They are going to be active in their education outreach and the Fin Foundation is going to be helping as much as we can!
We look forward to a great relationship with this partner and are grateful for the chance to share more ocean education with people of the Southwest!
