Sealing the cracks and strengthening the weak points!

The Fin Foundation recently received a generous donation of a nearly complete whale skeleton from Kino School. The bones have weathered slightly over the years and are brittle and flakey. After consulting an expert in museum quality skeleton restoration, we are ready to begin our own restoration project!  Watch over the next few months as we strengthen and clean these great teaching tools! We will have photos soon!

Great presentation this afternoon for a wonderful group of students! These 1st graders had amazing knowledge of sea life! Even at this young age, kids retain great details that impressed me to no end! Makes me even more certain that these programs are important for increasing ocean awareness! Thanks to everyone at Hudlow Elementary!

Had a great presentation this morning! Instead of the traditional 30-60 minute meeting, had almost two hours to present sharks to the students at Desert Christian High School! Covered a lot of information and had great questions from the students! The students were enthusiastic and seemed eager to hear the stories about shark interactions with man! Look forward to many more presentations in the future!
