Cox’s Future Innovator’s Night – Discovery table

The Fin Foundation will be set up at the Future Innovators Night at the TCC! We will be one of several booths talking about all kinds of science (but we will be the Marine Science Center!)! We hope to see lots of new faces as local students compete in a large scale science fair!

Tucson Festival of books – U of A mall – Flandrau Science Center

Multiple short presentations, discovery table
The Fin Foundation will be at the Flandrau Science Center for this year’s Festival of Books! We will be doing several short presentations throughout the day and will have our discovery table set up for people to explore! We are also looking forward to having the chance to listen to Ted Danson as he speaks at 11:30 in the South Ball room on Saturday! Ted Danson wrote a great ocean environmental book called OCEANA and we hope to ask a few questions while he is in town!

Women of Quail Creek – Green Valley, Az

The Fin Foundation will be headed back out to Green Valley to speak to the Women Of Queen Creek! This group of amazing volunteers donates its time and energy to various efforts including support for military wives and families! We will be showing them all about whales and other marine animals!

February 22nd, 2013

Our Volunteer Adrian will be a judge at this years science fair! He will be representing The Fin Foundation as the students present their yearly science projects! Adrian will be doing this for the 2nd year in a row and has a great time looking at all their hard work!

The Fin Foundation will be going back to Desert Willow to talk to their 4th grade about Our Amazing Oceans! We always have a great time out in Vail!
