An early morning for us out at Hudlow! we presented to over 50 kindergarteners! They did really well listening to us for over an hour! They really enjoyed the seashells and the sharks! Loved all of the questions too! We always like it when teachers, parents,  and staff stop in and stay to hear about the ocean too! Thanks to Jan Pipes for volunteering again!

May 7th, 2014 – Sandpiper Elementary School (Scottsdale, Az)

We had an AMAZING time up in Scottsdale! It is our 3rd year coming to Sandpiper Elementary to present during their MARE program! We completed 7 presentation covering sandy shores, rocky shores, Open Oceans, Wetlands, Islands, and kelp forests! And we taught the youngest group about sharks, whales, and turtles! We look forward to this day each year and we are so happy that we have such a great relationship with this school! Amazing students, great Teachers! A big thanks to Brian Pipes for making the trip with us to help out!

May 6th, 2014 – Ironwood Elementary School

We had a great time presenting to 2 groups at Ironwood Elementary School! The students were attentive and really showed great manners! We talked about a lot of different ocean creatures and how to help in their conservation! Thanks to Brian Pipes for helping out!

May 2nd, 2014 – St. Michael’s

We spoke to a small group of kinders this morning! But what a group! Probably one of the most well mannered students we have had in the past 6 years! And so very bright! When asking the kids what fish use their fins for, a young boy answered “propulsion and stability and steering!” FROM A KINDERGARTENER! So cool! Thanks to Brian Pipes for volunteering AGAIN! 🙂
