Whales and more!

Back at Luguna this week to follow up our talk on sharks with a presentation on Whales and other marine mammals! Great fun showing the students the artifacts we have recently acquired (like our walrus jaw bone and 6′ long baleen) in addition to the loads of additional material we always have! The whale bones always impress! It was great to see them putting all the science together and seeing the differences between fish and mammals and in seeing how the ocean continues to change! Great school and dedicated teachers!
