Completed the first of several presentations at Hendricks Elementary school! What a great school and science program! Mrs. Prohaska is amazing! She has made the commitment to teaching marine science to all the kids she sees and has been doing that for years! So heart warming for me to walk in the door and see ocean posters, artifacts along the walls, and kids super excited to learn more about our oceans! Just amazing! My scheduled hr long talk ended up going 2 hours when the kids, Mrs. Prohaska, and I all agreed that we were having such a good time that it couldnt stop after an hour! Next up will be the 3rd graders…
