Had the chance to go into AMS today as a marine biologist instead of as a coach! Love seeing my players in an actual classroom instead of on the field or on the court! This was an advanced class so I was able to bump up the level of learning a bit and share with them some pretty cool stuff! I am pretty sure they enjoyed learning more about the oceans and seeing the artifacts up close! I hope I get the chance to come into AMS again soon and make it a regular stop for the Fin Foundation! Its like going home for me!

Exploring the ocean while in the desert!

Had  a great morning with Desert Mosiac School! Paul joined in and helped show all of our great artifacts to the whole school, kindergarten thru 5th grade! We had lots of cool questions and loads of enthusiasm for the ocean! I really enjoy getting out to some of the smaller schools and giving them a chance to have guest presentations! Look forward to going back!

The students at Coronado were stuck with me all day!

Oh Man! What a great day! Spent the whole day at Coronado and saw 7 different classes! We explored the ocean and showed its amazing wildlife to so many kids! I know they left each presentation looking at the ocean in a new light! It was awesome seeing my old friend Stacy Merrill from the U of A (anothe Marine Science lover)! Thanks for setting it all up! Next year will be amazing, looking forward to it already!
