Just back from dong a presentation for the wonderful kids at St. Thomas The Apostle preschool! Had around 30 four and five year old students! These age is always so full of energy and it makes me smile during the entire time I am there! Sometimes the kids catch me off guard with their comments and observations! A little guy yelled out after I asked “what does this look like” (in reference to a sea jelly) and while other yelled out jelly fish and blob and other answers I had heard before, this youngster yelled out ” Parachute”! Sometimes I have to be reminded to look through their newly opened eyes!
This school has small groups of children and they get to name themselves, and this year they are the Sharks and The Fish! Love that some of them remember us from last year and that they are still interested in the Ocean! Thank you to the staff for helping to pass around the artifacts so that their little hands didn’t get hurt from all the shark teeth!
Fernan and Wesley liked the shark teeth. Siena and Katie liked the sea shells. Gunner liked the turtle shell. Jordan and Griffin liked the shark jaws. Nick liked the fish on Fernan’s head! Sebastian liked the scuba gear. Andrew, Charlie and Andres liked everything!
Thanks, Mr. Sean!
The kids always love it when Mr. Sean comes!
